Ah, yes...the Force is strong with this one...

Okay, so as a parent, you realize that there are going to be times when you are going to have "tough" talks with your children:

Drugs, Alcohol, Bad friends, Not dating until you're 30, etc.

Let me describe one of our first "tough" talks with Lanie...

McDonald's has become a fascination with our daughter since her school went for lunch on a field trip this summer (plus, we ate there most of our stops on our drive to New York-she has yet to discover the bliss that is a McDonald's Coke...not sure what we'll do then...)

Anyway, they now have Star Wars toys in their Happy Meals, so, of course, we had to go for lunch. So, Lanie and I picked up some Happy Meals and brought lunch home to Daddy. We all sat around the table and enjoyed a nice meal before nap time...Lanie's, not ours:(.

Well, the Happy Meal box was on the table and is decorated with Star Wars characters...as it should be:). And this is what Lanie was looking at:

So, even if you don't really know the "Star Wars" movies, you probably know that that character is called Yoda...try getting an almost 3 year old to say that:)!

The following are pictures of Lanie and Kevin "discussing" that his name is in fact

"YODA" not "YOUR DAD"

(taken with my new camera, I might add!)

...I would also like to add that this "discussion" continued as Lanie washed her hands after lunch, and called from the bathroom "It's "Your Dad", Daddy!" Boy, she is SO my little girl!
