So, right now I am listening to my sweetheart crying her eyes out...remember the no binkies thing? Apparently, she is having a harder time than she let on...surprise, surprise, huh?
Anyway, who'd have thought I'd have such a hard time. As she first laid down, and started looking for her blue binky (the usual routine), guess who else started crying? All I could see in my head was this precious little girl, who has had a binky by her side every night since she was born. Whether she actually used it or not is another story. But having it there as a comfort, and then trying to take it away...so hard. But, I also know it's necessary. Hopefully, we'll be able to transfer her comfort to something else...something that won't cause thousands of dollars in orthodontic bills:).
