Alright, so many of you are very aware of my hate-hate relationship with Barney...you know, the big purple dinosaur on tv? I've hated him since high school. So much, in fact, that my best friend and my boyfriend gave me a decapitated Barney figure with a screw in the chest and a large thumbtack in his head...sick, I know.
Anyway, so Lanie apparently watches Barney at school. Kev and I first realized this horror when we recognized that horrible song being sung by our angel one morning. Oh, tragic day!
Well, this morning, things got even worse...Lanie asked to listen to it in the car. I, of course, do not have a Barney cd in my car, so we couldn't listen to it. What's the next best thing? Let's sing it! Only, Lanie wasn't in the mood for singing, so guess who did it? That's right...I sang the Barney theme song. Not once, not twice, but three times for my cutie-patootie...
...I'm expecting my "Mother-of-the-Year" award in the mail ANY day now:)!
