Yes, it's true...June turned 32 this year...and WHAT A BLAST IT WAS!! Lanie, Kevin and I spent the day doing just plain fun family stuff:). We went to the zoo...I know, in January?...in Saint Louis? It was perfect!The weather ended up being decent enough to just wear jackets (and our favorite Packer gear-to be explained later), and no one was there, but the animals were all over the place...well, not really, but they were doing a lot...we even saw the hyenas move! Here are some shots of the elephants-they were trumpeting:)...man, I'm a geek!
Anyway, we got to see tons of animals, eat lunch together, and "build-an-elephant" (see top pic) who we named "General Pack".
Later, we came home and watched the Packers stomp the Seahawks (as far as the next weekend vs. the Giants...we still don't talk about it in our house). Then, we ordered and ate yummy Chinese food...what a perfect day:)!
