So, most of you know, we have a cutie-patootie dog named Nitschke. She and Lanie are the best of buds...we can't wait until Lanie's excited about walking and feeding her! Anyway, as you also probably know...dogs go to the bathroom outside...hopefully:)!
So, Saturday morning, we are eating breakfast, and Nitschke barks to go outside. I let her out, and here is the conversation that follows:
Lanie: Where Nitschke?
June: Nitschke's outside going potty. That's where dogs go potty. Outside.
Lanie: Nitschke go potty outside?
June: Yep, doggies go potty outside.
Lanie: (thinking) Nitschke needs a diaper.
June and Kevin: (laugh hysterically for about 2 minutes)
Lanie: (joins in the laughter, realizing she's a funny girl)
I think she's on to something...
